i've decided to blog regularly about stuff to destress.

Week 1 Issue: behaviour

when you look back, its interesting isnt it? they way you used to act when you were in primary one. well, i thought of this cos this later week, my three cousins from the US are arriving and their youngest sibling (7-8) years old, arrived last wednesday with the mother. his name is Nathan. hes a really polite and active kid. fun, not fussy, obedient and happy always. like his brother, he lieks to play games on the com, which is one of the reasons theyre always eager to come to singapore for a visit. he played harry potter and a few online games on my com. disney channel website or something. then every now and then he'll be kind enough to distract me from my work to ask how to do something in the harry potter game.

what interests me most is that, when i observe his behaviour, hes really quite a smart chap when you think about it. you can maintain an 'almost aldult' with him for ten minutes straight without losing his attention. quite remarkable. i remember never managing more than three. due to shyness or some other reason. in short, really outgoing.

something my grandmother once said is quite interesting. i dont know if it'd turn out true or not for nathan but i hope it doesnt. nainai said 'the somewhat naughtiest, most playful and most active kids turn out to be the most quiet when they grow up. like uncle william'

well, true for me i must say. i suppose thats why i lost the ability to maintain eye contact with people when i'm nervous or scared. and when i look back and see myself behaving the way nathan did last week, i go 'gosh i feel immature'

anyway, i hope his nature stays that way. its quite good. but sad to say, i cant exactly relate that well to him.unlike my brother. guess i'm not exactly built to care for children/younger people. hah. maybe thats why my con2 group found me boring. YES (: i AM the most boring facil in the lot. its in my nature. well, i make a better junior than senior i guess. not many seniors dont like me!

whee. alright that was long and annoying. hope that was good. its just for reflection.

hmm. why are so many people eating crabs nowadays? poor crabs.
